All the chef demonstrations in the Chef’s Theatre are free to watch. There will be seated and standing spots allocated on a first come first serve basis. If you want to guarantee a seat, there is a limited number of VIP Chef’s Theatre tickets available to purchase in advance.

With over a decade in hospitality, Maddy has spent the past four years as a valued member of the Prawn on the Lawn and Barnaby’s family — the last three at Barnaby’s at Trevibban Mill. Starting behind the bar, she quickly found her passion for crafting memorable guest experiences and stepped into the role of Restaurant Manager earlier this year.
Maddy’s creativity shines through in her cocktail making. She’s passionate about celebrating what’s local, fresh, and in season — often using herbs from the restaurant’s garden, fruits and flowers foraged from nearby hedgerows and produce grown by co-owner Rick Toogood. Her drinks strike the perfect balance between innovation and flavour, capturing the true spirit of Barnaby’s: a place where creativity, seasonality, and hospitality come together.
